What's changed.
The news, told straight: what we built, improved and fixed. No inflating.
- Improved
More readable materials, more reliable extraction.
Math formulas in chat are now properly typeset instead of plain text. Extracted PDFs keep the structure of the page. A document with a few unreadable pages is no longer discarded as a whole: we keep all the good text. And a new topic only appears in your library once processing has truly succeeded.
- New
The Senior chat becomes a full studio.
Conversations can now produce slide decks (.pptx), spreadsheets (.xlsx), diagrams, summary documents and images generated on request. And you can bring the world into the chat: attach a photo or a PDF and discuss it right away, or dictate your question out loud.
- New
Study profile and proactive review.
STUDIA learns from your quizzes: the Study Profile page shows your weak spots and how ready you are, and new quizzes focus where you make mistakes. If you turn it on, the Senior calls you back to review in the days before your exam.
- New
Sharing pays off.
You can share subjects, topics and study aids with a link: whoever receives them saves them into their own library. If you set a price in credits for your material, you earn every time someone unlocks it. And inviting a study partner earns credits for both of you.
- New
The Senior quotes your pages — and opens them.
The tutor answers from your materials, with numbered citations: tap one and the real source opens, not a summary. In chat it generates mind maps, flashcards and interactive quizzes, and it remembers past conversations.
- Fixed
Honest page counting for Word and PowerPoint.
Some Office documents were estimated from file size rather than content: in extreme cases the quote came out twenty times too high. We now count real pages and embedded images, with the same rule in every mode.
- New
Research: real academic sources.
Ask for research on a theme: an agent consults real scientific databases, collects verifiable references (DOIs included) and turns the result into new study topics in your library.
- New
Folders and a study calendar.
Tidy up your desk: folders for subjects and topics, with names suggested automatically. Plus a study calendar with tasks and exam dates, which the Senior can read and fill in — always with your confirmation.
- New
Handwritten notes: from photo to text.
Photograph your handwritten notes and recognition turns them into studyable text. Every page goes through a quality check, and if the first pass isn't enough, a second, more powerful model tries again.
- New
Merge, Compare, Investigate.
Three tools for working across sources: Merge fuses overlapping notes into a single text, without losing what's unique to each. Compare puts up to four sources side by side, with an overview, a synoptic table and per-theme cards. Investigate digs for focused answers inside your material, from a free-form question.
- New
Genius: from a whole book to real chapters.
Upload a textbook, even hundreds of pages long, and Genius splits it into chapters whose boundaries follow the meaning — never mechanical cuts every N pages. It's the foundation of your library, driven by Anthropic's Claude models.
- New
Here we go: the private beta.
STUDIA opens to its first students. The foundations are all there: subjects and topics, uploads for PDFs, photos and audio (transcribed with Whisper), summaries, mind maps, outlines and flashcards, PDF export and prepaid credits — you only pay for what you use. The interface ships in Italian and English, with five more languages already scaffolded.
Dates are rounded to the release month.
