Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. Similar tools, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), serve similar purposes. This policy describes their categories and the main ones, for the website stud-ia.app and the app app.stud-ia.app.

2. What we use

Technical tools: essential for the service to work (login session, security, language, theme, interface preferences, referral code and recording your cookie choice). They do not require consent. Diagnostics: in the app only, and only if you give your consent in the banner, we enable Sentry to report errors; Sentry may record some sessions in masked form (text and images hidden) and uses a storage tool to recognise the recorded session. In-browser diagnostics are not active on the website stud-ia.app. Marketing and profiling: we do not use marketing or profiling cookies or third-party analytics tools; if we introduce them in the future, we will ask for your consent first.

3. Third parties

Payment takes place on Stripe’s page (checkout.stripe.com), which sets its own cookies according to its privacy policy: we do not load Stripe scripts on our pages. Fonts are hosted on our own servers: your browser does not contact Google Fonts. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising tools.

4. How to manage your choices

On your first visit to the app the banner lets you accept everything, refuse non-necessary tools or choose by category: refusing is as easy as accepting. Your choice remains valid for 12 months, after which we ask again; we also ask again if we materially change what you consent to. You can change it or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the website pages, on the sign-in page and in the app’s Preferences: the banner reopens with your current choices. On the website, where we only use technical tools, the same link shows the notice. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, but without technical cookies the service does not work properly.
